We found Grapevine after a long walk. The warm colours of the cafe bar were welcoming. Inside, there was a choice of cafe style on the lower for and a stylish upper deck for a full meal experience. The four of us loved it and would go again.

Came here with my friend for lunch, had a great time! Love the food, vibes, music and most importantly friendly staff, cheering us up on a rainy day. They even offered trying out the wine when my friend was not sure. Personal favorite is the duck croquette and salad.

Response from the owner

Thanks Jessica, thanks for the great feedback, delighted you had a lovely experience at Grapevine!

In Dalkey for the day we thought the early bird menu looked good so booked ourselves in and went for a walk.
Fish cakes were as good as my own homemade, gnocchi were light and nicely served and the tempura fish really was in nice light tempura batter. Our server kindly included the cheese for a small supplement and I had a lovely creme brûlée. The kitchen know what they’re doing! As you’d expect from somewhere thats also a wine merchants, there was a great choice of wine, including by the glass, and what I had was very good wine at the right temperature. Incredibly good value, early €30 for 3 courses.
If I’m ever in Dalkey again I’ll eat here.

Thank you Mary🍷 …
